Ruth Stoner Muzzin
Ruth Stoner Muzzin is an associate with Friedman Dumas &
Springwater LLP. Her practice is focused on energy, water
and telecom industry regulation and litigation, and related
environmental issues.
Ms. Muzzin served as an extern to the Honorable Vaughn R.
Walker, Chief Judge of the Northern District of California,
and with the California Attorney General in the Department
of Justice, Division of Natural Resources. She is the author
of “Seeing the Free Exercise Forest for the Trees: NEPA,
RFRA and Navajo Nation,” Hastings W-Nw. J.
Envtl. L & Pol’y 277 (2010).
Ms. Muzzin received her undergraduate degree from the University
of San Francisco and her J.D. from the University of California’s
Hastings College of the Law. She served as Editor-in-Chief
of the Hastings West-Northwest Journal of Environmental Law
and Policy for 2009-2010 and represented U.C. Hastings on
its interscholastic Trial Team in 2008-2010. She is a member
of the State Bar of California.
