Mark Fogelman Joins Friedman Dumas & Springwater!

Dumas & Springwater LLP proudly announces the addition of
Mark Fogelman as a partner, effective March 1st. Mr. Fogelman
will head the firm's Regulatory Practice Group and will continue
his civil, regulatory and appellate litigation practice with
emphasis on the energy, telecommunications and water industries.
Mr.
Fogelman comes to FD&S from the San Francisco office of
Reed Smith, where he has been a regulatory and environmental
litigation partner since 2006. Prior to being recruited
to Reed Smith, Mr. Fogelman was a shareholder in the Litigation
Group at Steefel, Levitt & Weiss and a member of that firm's
Board of Directors. He joined Steefel in 1998, after spending
15 years with the California PUC, where he ended his tenure
as the PUC's Assistant General Counsel in charge of defending
all PUC decisions in court.
Mr.
Fogelman is a leading litigator in the practice area of energy,
natural resources and public utility law – an expanding area
that is receiving much attention in light of current initiatives
to address climate change, to achieve energy independence and
economic prosperity by developing renewable resources, and to
protect and preserve California's water supply and quality.
Mr. Fogelman also has strong credentials as an appellate specialist,
and is a member of the prestigious California Academy of Appellate
Lawyers.
